original lustre, struck on a full flan and as struck.

oval garnished shields (FRC XV/XX; N.2195; S.2758.
A provenance from one of the greatest collectors of his age Samuel Tyssen from 1802
who was followed later by Hyman Montagu a century later, both men had an appetite for the finest quality.
